Ship recycling and dismantling

In this segment of our business, we procure decommissioned ships and conduct dismantling operations at our Ship Recycling Yard at Alang, Gujarat.

The dismantling process involves systematically breaking down the vessel to extract various reusable materials. The recovered components are categorized and sold for recycling, including loose tools, machinery, and other valuable materials retrieved from the ship. Additionally, the scrap steel obtained through this process serves as one of the inputs for our Melting Shop, where it is repurposed to produce MS Billets. This approach not only optimizes resource utilization but also helps in efficient recycling of materials.
